The service technician performs the necessary repairs for the proper functioning of the equipment installed by the company or on any other equipment following a service call made by the customer.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Retrieve work orders, equipment and materials required to complete the repair on a daily basis;
Ascertain the diagnosis following the service call and proceed with the repair;
Performs tests on gas, water cooling and heating equipment prior to leaving the service call site;
Complete calls by clearly describing the operations performed at the customer's location;
In case of uncompleted work, identify the missing material and explain to the customer that he will return with the missing part and the value of the charges;
In case of emergency, place a call to the parts department who will search for the required parts and their price, call the customer back to inform him;
Maintain the truck and its inventory of parts and equipment in good condition;
Identify defective parts under warranty and report them to the company;
